About
Personal Profile
My goal is to continue a career in Conservation Education to ensure high quality educational experiences. I am a graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Sustainability & Ecosystem Science with a concentration in Zoo Animal and Confined Wildlife biology. My desire is to use that knowledge to educate.

I have been on a volunteer trip to Tanzania, Africa. I completed my Wildlife Rehab Internship in Costa Rica as well as a trip to study aquatic science and an Education Internship at Tanganyika Wildlife Park. I have also been on 3 educational trips to University of Texas Marine Science Institute(UTMSI). I gained essential leadership skills at my job at High 5 for 3 years.
As a Tour Guide, essential public speaking and passion for animals have enabled me to excel at my job. I have also learned to adapt to different age groups and education levels. This requires being observant, versatile and able to manage time. My time spent volunteering at the Capital of Texas Zoo for 5 years fueled my passion for this environment. I am currently a Senior Conservation Interpreter at the Dallas Zoo, using all my skills daily to educate all ages and levels of people.
